A random picture 8) i think not. :) :)
that's very good. What caused the light trails ?
Is it straight out of the camera or photoshopped. have never been able to take night pictures :-[ :-[
Although i must purchase a tripod as that would help ;D ;D

Light trails like that are caused by leaving the F-Stop open longer so as the cars (or in this case, maybe a boat), the light moves in the "frame". A buddy of mine used to like to take these kinds of photos.

could be a boat looking at where the lights are?

You got skills of your own. I particularly like your use of a dominate color on the black and white photos. (I read an article on how to do that once but the PS skill needed is WAY beyond me.)

photoshop is a pain , in fact most decent editing software is so complicated.
I find you tube is excellent for instructions.
I do like lightroom.
but i have been very lazy of late and need to get off my ass and do some clicking of camera.

they look nice, was a poor year for me in the uk, weather was crap

I planted them really late this year. I think it wasn't until late April. They normally bear fruit until late December. They are just coming on now. All the tomatoes have been remarkably sweet this year and are making fantastic sauces. We eat a great deal of pasta and still freeze some sauce for later in the winter.

Reminds me of an abandoned mental hospital near cedar grove NJ, but that was less mountainy.

It's wonderful that you and Bubu found each other and I've enjoyed the travel photos, here and on the Noid fora.
I have not been to Berlin since the wall came down and I expect I'd find it radically transformed by so much new money and development. That holocaust memorial is so intriguing from photos. I'd love to see it in person.

tarascon would be thrilled. He says he's agreeably re-settled in Detroit with a satisfying job. Hopefully it won't be too long before he regains a computer with regular internet access.

I sent him an e-mail and hopefully he'll get back to me soon. I encouraged him to drop in here, although I don't know what the home internet service situation is yet.
