Still no flying cars. And the robots are still garbage.

At least we haven't totally screwed up the environment yet and there are not any cyborgs running around (not, at least, like the ones in the film).

I think they were called Synthetics rather than Cyborgs. Or Replicants.

I feel like the sequel was a bad idea.

How would you know?

Rutger Hauer is dead and Daryl Hannah isn't the svelte model she used to be.  But, I take your point.  On a related topic, this is pretty interesting:  an algorithm that constructs convincing human faces.  https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/11/21/science/artificial-intelligence-fake-people-faces.html (https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/11/21/science/artificial-intelligence-fake-people-faces.html)

Oh, poor Daryl, I'll miss her kill bill character style, maybe she'll surprise me and have done something I'll like since.

How nostalgic and weird that we're making it to dates that movies set as "the future"  I wonder what year is the oldest year that was described as futuristic in books and movies. How fake timelines correlate with real ones.  ::)

That is an awesome topic Six, you're always onto points of interest.  Anything you do is on point.  ;D  inspiring, I say!
I fell asleep typing this last night, here it is today
