Blu-ray Movies Worth Getting
« on: January 16, 2009, 02:59:20 PM »
I use my PS3 for watching Blu-ray movies.

Any recommendations for movies that blow you away with the picture and sound quality differences between Blu-ray and standard DVD.

I'm still using 8mm and an old sheet stapled to the wall.  Can't wait till we get something to hear it with.
Don't put off until tomorrow, what you can put off until the day after.

There is an exception to every rule, apart from this one.

Agree with you on 300.

I fancied getting apocalypto. Thanks

Blackhawk Down is fantastic, I have it on DVD as well and was very impressed with the difference between them.

Don't plan on replacing the DVD's I have with Bluray, but there are some that I will.

You're the man!!! I cant relate to blue ray without a superior TV.n Seriously!! I dont need that image in my home. Literally everyone I know has a nightmare story to tell about their NEW TV imaging system. No matter what kind it is. It f*&%s up and costs a fortune to repair...........Ill wait thank you.

that's bad about the TVs.
i don't know about anyone personally that's had trouble
you do need a strong signal to get a good picture.

I don't have a PS3 or have watched an entire movie in Blu-ray, but I'm pretty sure Blade Runner would look damn awesome in 1080p.
