has some stipulations regarding them.

What? they have to be stuffed?

Not really stipulations, more like he'd rather we not have them.  3 of the 7 units here have cats, a total of 10 cats between the three places and they only got to have them cuz they moved in with them.

You all have beautiful animals  :)

Your story is really upsetting, Indie.  I always wonder what kind of person would do
such a horrible thing  >:(

Here's my collection

Aslan:  The regal and crotchety king

Dinah:  The weirdo.  My wife and I doubt if she's even a cat (or from Earth for that matter)

Lucy & Meeps:  The little spy and the big lady respectively

Peeps & Susan:  The huntress & the queen respectively

Oops: The punk (this cat is a scallywag and a big fat meanie pants)

Currently we have another cat living in our garage that we call Quacks because his meow
sounds like a duck.  I swear that homeless cats can smell a sucker a mile away  :D
Size, it doesn't matter to me so long as I get it...Gotta go now.

It's not bad at all.  Most of them spend a lot of time outside, and I clean the two litter boxes we have every day.

I was wondering how he can find somewhere to sit :-\   :)

That actually is a bit of problem especially since it's cold right now  :D

what's so weird about your dinah that make you think she not from earth?

Well, at night she stares up at the sky with this vacant look in her eyes, and her behavior is
decidedly un-catlike  ;D

Jack I also thought I would suggest you looking into "plastic bag lite" for butters.

Frank, awesome crew 'o' cats!

Speaking of cat smell a neighbor lady of ours had so many cats that she lets them live in her garage and their litter pan was a hard plastic kids swimming pool!!! She passed away a few years ago and I never did find out what happened to all the kitties. We bacame friendly when she saw us walking our shephard, Gretta. She had a champion shephard too. Beautiful dog. When that dog passed, people in the neighborhood actually went to visit her with their condolences. They were great friends, she and her dog...Lisa and Reesa.

I had one cat, Perkins, who chose me one day while I was out in front of my house. He stuck around until he softened up my folks who let him stay. He turned out to be probably the best cat I ever owned.

In no small part due to the fact that he refused to do the whole 'litter box' thing and preferred to slink of somewhere in the neighbor's yard to do his business. The neighbor had a gaggle of cats already and never tended their yard, so no one was the wiser.

All I know is he never went in the house and I never had to clean up a litter box.

Perkins spoiled me actually...  :D

As far as Butters is concerned, I will not be making it any easier for him to eat plastic.  ;)

And frank, that's quite a lot of kitties, and my favorite so far has to be Dinah, I've been known to stare at the sky and wonder how the hell I got here.

The Punk sounds like he needs a date with a squirt gun...  :D

Is he flipping you off?

Sure does look like it  :D

That doesn't work.  A full glass of water doesn't work either  :(

is he mean to the other cats?

are there many homeless cats in the us?
you all keep saying that you were chosen by some stray cats ...
in my district there are no homeless cats or if so, i've never seen any in 7 yrs !
there are of course cats who are allowed to go outside, but they will just come and cuddle a little before we each go our way.
thinking of it my cousin who lives in another part of town, very close to a big park told me that she had 2 or 3 homeless cats coming into her garden for some time. ..

He's right awful.  All he does is lope around looking for things to punk.
It's his way of life.  Sleep, eat, punk.  When it gets warmer, he's staying outside for good.

I dunno if every place in the US is the same with cats, but in the place where
I live, there are many, many stray cats.  It's mostly from stupid owners who
don't fix their animals and just let them run loose.  In other cases people move
and just leave their cats to fend for themselves.

My parents and I have a deal worked out with a nearby vet who charges 15-25 USD
for neutering and spaying.  In our respective neighborhoods we've decreased the potential
numbers substantially, but it's a really bad problem in my area.

I don't know if it has changed since I heard this a few years ago, but in California,
cats are legally considered feral animals like possums or squirrels.
