Tool. Can we fold this back, end all of reality since the last Tool? I know stopping 9/11 would be greedy, but even just going back to 2006, maybe we couldn't fix everything, but we'd be warned.

just one little time change so a draft board in 1968 turns down the bribe to accept "bone spurs" and we are home-free.

I'll bet this guy has no problem swapping new batteries into his Apple devices.

I also enjoyed that, I'm on my second day not being happy, feeling like a boiled lobster. I really need to remember the sun screen when I take the bus.

It was a nice little moment of peace.

Thinking about Ginger Baker, RIP.  He sounds like he was a very troubled man.  Still, I'm grateful for his music.

The spice girls are like the 7 deadly sins.  I like to recite their names occasionally just to make sure I remember them.

Posh, Sporty, Scary, Baby, Ginger.  There.  (Pride, Gluttony, Anger, Envy, Lust, Greed, Sloth) We talked a good deal about the Spice Girls in my Portuguese class.  I preferred the classes that discussed Curious George.  O George Curioso es un macaco, ele come bananas. Boa noite.  Eu estou muito cansada, entao nao posso recordar todos os nomes das Spice Girls.  Tal vez amanha.

Wasn't Sleazy one of the dwarfs? I don't know as I didn't get to see lots of Disney movies as a child.

Interesting factoid about that Spice Girls video.  It was shot in the defunct hotel constructed by the Grand Midland Railway adjacent to St Pancras station (the architect was George Gilbert Scott).  The hotel was derelict for many years due to poor planning (very few bathrooms and costly heating made it less convenient by the end of WW1, leading to its eventual closure in the mid 1930's).  Now it's the St Pancras Renaissance, but it sat empty for a long time and videos like this were an occasional income stream.  The interiors were gorgeous.   They've been restored and the hotel has undergone a costly renovation.  When I first visited the place, it was wonderfully sooty still and the hotel was closed.  Now it's been tarted up and all spiffy.  If you would like some eye candy, here:  https://gilbertscott.org/st-pancras-hotel-train-station/

Jack Ryan just checked in there in episode 4, season 2 of his own show. It does indeed look very nice.
