Site modifications.
« on: December 02, 2009, 05:43:06 AM »
I have started this thread so I can inform you all of any modifications that I add to the site (new bbc tags etc).  But I must point out that some things may only work in the DiasDesign default theme as some just won't work in the core theme and I have to get round to adding them to the Speedlight theme (whoever the single person is that is using that theme?).

Today I have installed an image resizer that will make images display at a maximum of width 740px (no max for height) and open in a new window to be viewed at full size.  This should get us around the sideways scrollbar issue that some have been experiencing, and sorry to anyone using 800x600 as the design may still break for you.

You don't have to to do anything to make this work other than using the [img]*[/img] tags as usual. Here's an example:

I like this. :) Makes things tidier and it's less work for us who tried to re-size the pics beforehand. I also like that ball Steve Carrell has. I used to have one. Now it's broken and I haven't seen it again.  ::) ;D

Rules are back in the Nav bar.  Now there are even more places for us to ignore them.

That latter part was a joke.

Since WikiSpaces have withdrawn their free page option we are including a child board with the data from the forum games.  This is really of no interest to anyone so could you check it in your ignore boards option in your profile so updates won't show up in the recent posts sections:

If you have any problems doing this, then mention it here and I'll do it manually for you.

Fixed it

just one little time change so a draft board in 1968 turns down the bribe to accept "bone spurs" and we are home-free.

"Fora".

I was starting to think that will go unnoticed this time. Nope...

"Fora".

"Noun

    A place for discussion.
A gathering for the purpose of discussion.
A form of discussion involving a panel of presenters and often participation by members of the audience.
(Internet) An Internet message board where users can post messages regarding one or more topics of discussion.

Trish was an admin member on three forums, and had no trouble at all when it came to moderating them.

(in a Roman town) a square or marketplace used for public business and commerce."

Dictionaries are just full of populist nonsense.

Which is probably why Trish had so much trouble.
