That the London underground (rail) is 150 years old today.

The state of it you'd have thought it was older...

Good King Wenceslas looked out, on the Feast of Smokesta,
When the bugs lay round about, deep and crisp that'll choke ya.

Didn't really surprise me, but no work today. Too wet and still raining.

Ironic that usually the most morally bankrupt are the bankers.

Facebook said someone tried to access my account from Japan , then prompted me to change my password. It was low security but super easy for me remember . Now I when I tried to access fb on my phone, I forgot my dang password.

My son looked out into the garden this morning while eating his breakfast and sighed "I hope it snows today".  He then turned back to put his toast down and pick up his drink, and when he turned back, it was snowing.

The missus said we should get him to say/sigh: "I hope my folks win the lottery"...

We have a mouse in the house!! In the 14 yrs I've been living here it's the 1st time. Last night I was sitting on my laptop in the dining room when I heard a loud "clang". I watched in the general direction of the noise and saw it for a second on the kitchen countertop and then it was gone behind the stove. Clumsy little thing bumped my two wooden pepper mills (not one but both of them). Geez, one of them is at least 40 cm long.  ::)
I won't be as nice as the soldier in mishca's post. Sorry buddy but this is my turf!
