When you grow up do you want to play with The Royal Drummers of Burundi? My Girl Scout troop made these mini drum to signify Burundi and I have never forgot them.........

I actually used to play the Tabla.

AND, oh im so excited to tell you this. LOL

When I was younger me and the group I played tabla with were asked to perform at the Queen's golden jubilee in Hyde park and we went and I actually shook the queens hand and I played tabla at her jubilee

Well im only 16 so professional is unknown to me
but I no longer play the tabla, i only learnt a bit when until bout the age of 10, since then i started learning how to play the dhol, which i think im pretty good at  ;D.

Its quite a good money earner to if theres an indian wedding or birthday or anything cause i play and people are pretty much shoving the twenties in me pocket  :D

That's well cool. When I was producing house music I wanted to incorporate some Tabla but couldn't find anyone who played.  I ended up sampling the Kodo drummers stuff as I had seen them in Japan and loved their stuff, but it was so damn tricky the quantize and resample to the right tempo.
