The Walking Dead (season 7) starts tonight. We've watched the whole series so far. Last season ended with one of the main characters getting killed but they didn't show which one. I read the comics it's based on so I'm pretty sure I know which one it is. I keep threatening to spoil it for my gal, but I won't.

We were going to save TWD up until our hols next August, and then watch the complete series over 2 weeks. However, going to the Caribbean looks off if the pound stays this weak against the dollar and plan B is a cottage in Cornwall.

It may be just as well if we watched it at its normal schedule.

Not really a favorite but I've been watching Your brain on video games on TV.

Here's a sample...

I thought I'd give Aftermath a try and 5 episodes in all I can hear my brain saying is "make it stop, MAKE IT STOP!!".

I have never witnessed such a poorly cast, poorly scripted and pointless TV show in my life. It does have the occasional nice element of CGI but those moments seem out of place in such a dreadful show.

The 2 young girls in it don't look a day over 12 and are both sort of sexualised to some degree which just doesn't work (especially the anorexic one). Can't we just keep the romantic aspects of the storyline (assuming there is a storyline) to the grown-ups?

I need to get back to AHS season 4.

Funny. I was looking for a new tv series to watch and saw Aftermath on a site, read up on it in Wikipedia and decided it wasn't for me.  You have vindicated my suspicions.

I just finished watching The Good Wife, not expecting to like it, but it was pretty good, all the way through.  Now I'm looking for something else to watch.

Came on here earlier tonight and checked out Mr. Robot at suggestion of tarascon.  Looks pretty good so far, so thanks for that.

I started watching that and got tired of all the zombies getting their brains blown out.  It was so frequent as to be oppressive.  Like, ok, I get it.  Enough.  Shoot them somewhere else for a change.

Um, aren't head shots the only thing that work on zombies?

Ahah! So there are actually people in the world that would shoot a zombo in the torso.  I usually shout at the TV when people do that suggesting that EVERYONE knows to shoot a zomb' in the head.

I stand corrected.

I get the theoretical necessity, but not the need to visualize exploding heads, but then, again, I like Mr. Robot.  Given, it's bleak and you sort of want to hit the protagonist in the face with a cream pie at times for being such a precious little twit, but what else is there to watch right now?

I need more, better tv.

Ahah! A legitimate use of "more better". The only other time I've heard that sound right was in 21 seconds.
