hap and Leonard season 2 was pretty good

I really enjoyed Hap and Leonard.  Read about it first on here.  Glad to hear that Season 2 is out.  I'm watching The Path, but my heart isn't reall y in it.  It's a bunch of cult people.  Hardly anyone to like, although Aaron Paul from Breaking Bad is one of the more sympathetic characters.

Not quite. Still next week to go
pleasantly surprised. Normally the run is roughly 4 episodes.
agree with your spoiler info. And why o why does Morse take a long look into nothing when hes thinking about something.
Need to get back to their basics  ;D

The Path is a Hulu series.

I realized I'd already seen season 2 of Hap & Leonard so I found this new series, sort of like black humor insider view of a bachelor reality show called Unreal.  It's not utterly brilliant or anything, but it's entertaining.

Scratch what I said earlier about the Shannara Chronicles. It seems as soon as Spike cancelled the show, they crammed all sorts of tosh into the last 2 episodes in an attempt to make it make sense. The result was a pile-o-shite.

Moving on. Regardless of the crappy reviews, we really like Black Lightning at the moment.

Re-Endeavour, the good news is at least there is another series coming next year,
Spoiler (hover to show)

But all in all a series I started out wanting to hate (As John Thaw`s depiction of Inspector Morse still remains for me the essential defining Morse) turned out to not only be enjoyable but to become in some small way a good explanatory prequel of how Morse evolved into the beloved curmudgeon we know...

1 year to wait though   :'(

We really like Endeavor.  You guys get the series a year or so ahead of us.  My husband watches it over and over again.  Nice to know that there's new episodes available.  I do scratch my head to figure out how that old guy who had trouble getting a date morphed out of the charming and attractive young man he once was.  I guess being a detective takes it out of you, unless you are on the cast of that sleep aid, Midsomer Murders.

The Orville
Did not think I was going to like it - but I do.

Has anyone been watching The Leftovers?  I started it last night, but fell asleep (it was late and I was tired).  I was wondering if it's worth pursuing.  I found it via google "best tv shows of 2017" and am not sure if it is worth the time.

I can't agree more. I thought it was going to be some Star Trek farce/parody but it's got it's own soul.

I'm not sure if the Rapture figures in many non-Americans lists of "things to watch TV shows about". It does seem to be a uniquely American diversion.

.... unless you dress it up as alien abduction, then we are all over it like white on rice.

I watched the rest of the first episode of The Leftovers and realized that I didn't care what happened to any of the characters, as I was utterly bored by the entire thing, so I moved on to something else.  "The Americans" seems promising, as a drama about a pair of Soviet agents in an arranged marriage spying on the U.S. from their home in a D.C. suburb.  They have a house in a cul de sac with two kids, neither of whom realizes their parents are spies.

I might check out The Orville, as I'd never heard of it.

I hadn't heard of Little Nikita, but an FBI agent and his family do move onto the same street and the FBI guy has suspicions.  The children are as of yet still oblivious.  It will be interesting to see if the plot continues this parallel arc.

Maybe I'll check out Little Nikita after I've watched a few more episodes.  The Americans so far is not too bad.
