We're nearly there now as the host has informed me that there are just a few directories to be copied over. Things do look more stable but I expect we will have some teething to put up with.

Everything is now back to normal and hopefully better then we were before. 

Hopefully this may evn solve the little glitches we occasionaly experienced, especially by laama and Sub'.

Usual thing though; report any error here please.

I know there are some ongoing problems as I have been monitoring the server and the load has been astronomical at times. I have asked them to get this to settle down as we have put up with more than enough lately, and I am sure they wil endeavour to sort things out swiftly.

I tried to log in at 12:15 and at about 12:50 I gave up. Now it's working perfectly fine.

Problems today at 9.40 am. Tried again 30 mins later and all was well.

Thanks for that Red. I am getting a little tired of chasing the host when it really should be them informing us of issues. Nevertheless, these reports help both myself and the host narrow things down when searching through the logs.

There was a DNS configuration problem this morning and is why we were down for a while.  We are all good now and I apologise for the outage.

There have been some troublesome accounts on our server that were using to for mail spamming.  This overloads the server and all other accounts suffer because of it. The techs have apparently weeded them out and the server is looking in good shape again.

Thanks for the heads up though as it helps to pin down the time and then the offending account.

Yes I can see that the server is struggling a tad, but it is still within acceptable parameters so fingers crossed the high load will pass without to much hassle.

Got the "connection error" message today at 9:11am.  A refresh resolved it but figured I'd report it anyway.

I have to admit that I am really unhappy with our service, post the IP change, as I think they have seen it as an opportunity to increase the amount of accounts on the server.  The load is never really 'low', for any great length of time at least, and more often than not it clips over its safe limit and then we get page loading problems.

I have just renewed our contract in October so we'll have to stuggle on, but next year I'll get us a new host.

I've got Connection problems, then Internal Server Error and then Database Error beginning about half hour ago.
