I'm constantly on the look out for new albums and new music, so I'm curious
as to what albums you've played the hell out of.
Here's a couple I've spun countless times
The Beatles - The Beatles aka The White Album
I won't say that this is the best Beatles album, but by and large I've listened
to this one constantly for years. I wouldn't say all of the songs are bona-fide
hits, but the sheer vastness of it never bores me :)
Miles Davis - Kind of Blue
Often referred to as the best jazz album of all time, I don't know if I'd agree with
that, but my fondness for this album hasn't changed since the first time I heard
it. With Miles Davis, Cannonball Adderley, John Coltrane, and Bill Evans all in
their prime doing what they do best, even if you don't like jazz all that mush,
this album is more than worth having in your collection.
There are plenty of other albums I could post here, but I wanna know what tickles your fancy :)
-
Wish You Were Here & Animals by Pink Floyd
?nima by TOOL
from the choirgirl hotel & Scarlet's Walk by Tori Amos
Kid A & my live bootleg of In Rainbows by Radiohead
I could go on for awhile actually... :-\
-
Please do so :)
-
Demon Days by Gorillaz
Not for 3s & Double Figure by plaid
Music Has the Right to Children by boards of canada
Elementary Particles & Prima Materia by Bluetech
Scorpio Rising by Thunderball
Vegas by The Crystal Method
More?
-
MOAR!!!
The only album I have by Plaid is Double Figure, and that is a fantastic album.
I'll have to check out Not for 3s :)
-
Okay, how an '80s themed list?
Good for Your Soul & Nothing to Fear by Oingo Boingo
Fear of Music & Remain in Light by Talking Heads
Q: Are We Not Men? A: We Are DEVO! & Duty Now for the Future by DEVO

I Just Can't Stop It by The English Beat
Sandinista! by The Clash
Call of the West by Wall of Voodoo
Ghost in the Machine by The Police
War & The Unforgettable Fire by U2

The Pretenders - The Pretenders.
This was the first album I ever bought and for about 4 years I only listened to side 1 as it was brilliant, then got around to side 2 ;D
-
It's funny to me that I have all the albums y'all have listed here so far.
We should get together and have a party sometime 8)
I love the Clash, but I've never given Sandinista! much of a fair
shake. Maybe this weekend, I'll dust off the turn table and give it a go :)

It's not great all the way through but it has some very bright spots - and it opens with The Magnificent Seven which just bless'ed grooves...

Thanks Frank next on the list. ;) :)
-
The last song on Damned, Damned, Damned is actually a Stooges song.
They're considered by many as a big influence on early Punk; I don't think you'll be disappointed.
Just make sure you crank the volume when you listen to them ;)
-
I think i never finish an album, sometimes some songs just don't impress me in the first minute or so, and I keep listening to the same 3 songs.
But I guess Master of Puppets.
-
That's a damn fine album ;)
I don't want to pressure you, but you seriously don't have other albums that you've played so many times
you can't remember how many times you've played them?
