Why does Bats get such a bad press, when he is no different to Ironman? In fact, he has a similar suit somewhere. 

Batman is my family's favourite, and mine because he does not have to be fictional.

For DC comics, I don't really have a favorite per se.  I generally just read through titles.  Right now I trying to read through all the Flash that I have and am currently at the Savitar arc of Flash v2 (Wally West).
