Since its Thanksgiving here in the States.......
« on: November 26, 2009, 10:04:34 AM »
Sooo,, what are we all thankfull for?

For me it would be Tracy and the girls, Hannah , Meagan and Shannon.
My trip , and the promise of moving back to Britain ( wonderfull place and awsome people,, most of my freinds live there now).
And im thankfull for you guys here,, youve all become damn good freinds,, and most here are like family to me now.
Dont you guys ever change ( Ok Gee,, you can change your socks,, theyre a little smelly now lol).
You know,, its the little things that matter in the end. The two pence I found on the road in Burnbank ( still got it,, its been good luck for me). The view from Tracy's window ( got some good pics from it), a nice place to sleep, and a nice bottle of cold refreshing Pepsi ( thought of you Hmed lol).
Dont ever forget the small things,, they are what influence our lives the most.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone,.
I keep my standards low.
That way im never disapointed.

Happy Thanksgiving to all the Americans here and sorry I missed it to all the Canucks.

Personally I'm thankful for the half full bottle of JD I have left, my two beautiful kids, what sanity I have left and the fact the the missus is out.

Yeah,, I got pics I got to put online of just Hamilton and the Newcross Shopping Area,, it was well,,,to my American eyes,, beautiful.
You know,, you guys in Britain take what you have for granted sometimes I think.
You live in an area with thousands of years of culture and history.
You guys walk the same ground as alot of historical figures that shook the pillars of Heaven.

The sights are amazing, .
Here in America we have Abraham Lincoln,, a historical figure that freed the slaves.
Not because it was the moral thing to do, but because it was a punitive case against the South.
He even declared an illegal war against part of the country.
Our historical figures ( mainly presidents) only did things for their own gain and rewrote history to make themselves look like heros.
Even Nixon declared war against a cross sectiopn of out population ( to take our minds off of an illicit war in South East Asia)
I keep my standards low.
That way im never disapointed.

I was at work Thanksgiving.  All the Americans were like "I should be putting the turkey in the oven right about now."  and "I wish I had a drink."  Anyway, belated Happy Thanksgiving and I hope you guys had fun.

After almost loosing my mother this past summer, my family has a lot to be thankful for. This Thanksgiving, I am thankful to have had both my kids here at my parents house for the past 4 days. And for the Lord giving us another Thanksgiving with my 94 year old grandmother. It's been many years since I have all been able to spend so much time with all of my family in one place. I am really enjoying every moment.

This year has been a hard one, almost loosing my mother, coming close to loosing my home before I could sell it, my son being in jail for most of this year.  But Mom is doing fantastic, I sold my house and made enough to buy another one, my son is out of jail, has a great job, a new truck and his own place and my daughter got her high school diploma and her certified nurses aid certificate and is going on to college to be a pharmacist. So I truly do have a lot to be thankful for.

Grandma Opal and me Thanksgiving day.

Move to Oklahoma. Im thankfull the property values here are soooo low ( mom paid only 100,000 for her two story three bedroom home on nearly 3 acres,, and I thought she was ripped off at the time).
If you sold your house in California,, you can get a nice one here for about a quarter of what you paid for your old one.

Nice to see you HD,, missed you.
