I know some people don't like epic game service, but they're giving away a game a day for the christmas season 2022. The first day was a baloon game I never heard of, but they usually wrap things up with a blockbuster.
Just thought I'd mention it.

Epic has been giving 1-2 games away a week since they started doing it early on during the start of the lockdown in 2020. Most are passes but some have been winners.

Sorry for necromancy, but today's free game really fired off the dopamine receptors in my brain. It's purposefully looking backwards, and I like that a lot.

I went all the way round and ended up at the beginning?

There was a game I falsely remember as "The temple of isis" that was very similar to this, your player character was a plus sign, and you jumped through tombs collecting keys.
"Temple of Kroz" from apogee looks similar, but not quite right.
