Post by: mishca09 on August 08, 2012, 07:03:25 PM
My neighbor recommend  me as a PA on production job. And I got the job for the duration of the shoot. Should I send like fruit arrangement and a thank you card?or is a thank you card fine.?

Membership to the Jelly of the Month club, definitely.  That's the gift that keeps on giving throughout the entire year.

instead of a fruit arrangement and card, i would give him a gift certificate for a restaurant and a card, nothing too fancy or expensive, say $25 at a decent local place, everyone likes to eat out at least once in awhile.

In my country it'd be an easy decision: either a bottle of wine or champagne. But I don't know how politically correct that'd be in the USA.

Only a thank you card would be considered an affront in these parts.

Thanks to everyone for their comments .

We get that person drunk as a thank you.  Needless to say, that often backfires the next morning.

Wow I totally missed this thread.  Oddly I was going to say a good bottle of Chablis would be a great thank you, but I can see XT has already offered the same advice.
