You didn't buy her it for Christmas did you?

She said she wanted it for Christmas, but no. I hope I don't have to get her the Xbox Scorpio (releases for the holidays). Think I got her talked out of that since beefing up her PC. WTF do you get somebody that pretty much already has what they want? Thinking maybe jewelry. :-\

;D Yeah, I suppose there are many things she would want but she's real about it.

Tell her the build quality is poo. Just happens to be true. When I bought my 360s, I got a used one from before mattdick became CEO. They're still building 360's, but they removed components. Also, you don't want to end up with whqtever the future rrod is. So wait at least six months, for the part pipeline to stabilize.

On to the food! I had resigned myself to more spaghetti. It's not bad spaghetti, it's even got proper noodles instead of the flat wheat poo mom buys, but anything for repeated dinners is morale damaging.

But my roommate brought me a carne asada! Made my week.

The pans wouldn't work on mrs. christ's induction hob.

She ain't feeding the 5000 on that thing, I can tell ya.

Not her job.

That's a shame, she might have seasoned the food.

Hey ho.

Burritos. Mom bought uncooked tortillas, so that was interesting. Beats the crap out of the lousy wheat ones she likes, but putting food into a balloon is weird. Salsa was marked medium, but was pepper spray, which explains the very low price and very full shelf. Still tasted good, and it took my mind off difficulties, which is always nice.

To be fair there is only one of him.

Something the world is grateful for every day.

My wife keeps telling me she bought dinner, but then  presents me with all the ingredients to make her another curry.

I'm pretty sure we already had the rice, spices, onions, garlic, lentils, flour and oil, so what she really bought was a handful of prawns.

My mom used to bring me a packet of meat on fridays, as if magic would render it into food, even if I lacked any other ingredients.

So I share your pain.

ATM I love chilli spaghetti, but as with most things I like to alter and put ingredients in that are not on the recipe. Tried with Ginger last night. Not too bad

Cannot get enough of it.
