Title: BB Tags with the Quick Reply
Post by: dweez on February 25, 2009, 08:19:00 AM: Is there anyway to get the BB Tags (like img, quotes, etc) in the Quick Reply box? The Demon Den is using the same version of SMF and they have the option. It's just more convenient for me then having to type out the tags myself (and risk a typo). Lame I know but...just a suggestion.

I am not in a postition to do it now as little folk are too near the keyboard for it to be safe to edit system files. I'll try and get it working tonight.

If you have it set to "show on by default" and quote something, it enters it in the quick reply which I don't like. I have it set to "show off by default" so I still have the choice.

Yes and the YouTube as mentioned. These will have to be entered by hand and I wish I had realised when I did it in the first place. I will get around to it soon and thanks for pointing it out.
