I know a lot of humans that can speak quite well outta their arses, so it should follow that they can also breathe through them?..

^^^I just read a story in National Geographic about leatherback turtles, and it mentioned them being able to close off blood flow to their lungs so they could conserve energy while diving. ..And, how they have a gland under their tongue that filters salt out of their diet, and then pushes the waste out as tears. So, it could make sense that they might require different ways to function then other animals, and have different parts serve different functions.

Ive raised a few over the years,, they are very versatile animals.
You would be surprised by them.
Star Shelled Tortoises have to be raised with a member of the oposit sex, and they tend to play with each other.
 Iraqi Desert Tortoises can climb walls.
 Red Eared Sliders and Aligater Snappers can actualy be hand raised from hatchlings to not be vicious.
 I had a hatchling that I had for a few years,, it was actualy quite personable.

Turtles are cool that they?re so adaptable. The article I read said the leatherbacks had been around since T-Rex. And they have inward facing spines in their gullet that keeps ingested jellyfish from squishing back out :P

Hmmm,,,moving targets.

A typical pothole in the road here in the US costs nearly 400 dollars to fix.
No woder our roads suck. Someone is making money and it aint me, so its wrong.

Jeffery Dahmer only killed people because they were attractive and he "loved" them.
No American serial killer has even touched a record ,,,yet.

Robert Rastler, in 1978, coined the term "serial killer" for any murderer that killed 3 or more individuals.
