It's common thing nowadays.

The fur of the binturong, also known as the "Asian Bear Cat," smells like popcorn. The scent is believed to come from a gland located near the tail.

In Japan, by the time man reaches the age of 60, he is commemorated with a special ceremony. This ceremony features the man wearing a red kimono, which denotes that he no longer has the responsibilities of being a mature adult.

God,, I got to move to Japan!

Japanese sword makers traditionaly only folded a sword 30 times. The metal loses its temper if they are done much more than that. ( Looked it up in a book called "Weapons" written by the Diagram Group)

Some genuine Samurai swords had the blade folded 100 times.
More flexibility, less chance of the sword being broken.

The world's oldest rose is located Hildeshiem Cathedral in Germany and is thought to be over 1,000 years old.

Japanese Samurai swords which are made by confirmed smith masters are illegal to move out from Japan.

An office desk has 400 times more bacteria than a toilet.

London was actualy a Roman outpost called Londinium.
Most people from England are actualy of Roman descent. The true English natives fled north into Caledonia ( or Scotland)

The Britons didn't flee anywhere as the Romans let them keep their land, but Britannia stayed under the rule of Roman governors for over 300 years.  It is true that they didn't pay much attention to north or Hadrian's wall (well, not for very long anyhow), but as the "empire" was all about wealth and commerce, it probably wasn't economically viable to finance a military presence there in the long term.

I would have thought the real mixing of the gene pool came under Anglo-Saxon rule.
Don't put off until tomorrow, what you can put off until the day after.

There is an exception to every rule, apart from this one.
