I can't remember ever having seeing them here in the U.K even though they are sort of a household name. I did see, and have eaten them in the Caribbean as most of the sweet stuff there is shipped down from the U.S.

What is really sad is a long serving company forced into liquidation.

Doesn't mean no more Twinkies, just no more Twinkies manufactured by Hostess.  They suck anyway.

I like the chocolate ones, but rarely see them on the shelf.

Someone will probably scoop up the recipe for Twinkies, wonder-bread too. But they won't be hostess, and they'll probably golly with the recipe for marketing purposes.

Apparently the Canadians will not see any disruption, but those weirdos can't even get bacon or milk right. Their Twinkies probably contain moose.

I heard that gelatine is actually bone matter material. The Roman's used to ground up bone and put in in stuff though, calcium.

This is the real tragedy.
