(some of the pictures in the slide show NSFW).
Strangely enough, as many times as I've snapped a Polaroid in my life, I'm not really sad about this :-\
-
I'm not overly sad, but they are were kind of cool.

LOL
I was plus I was going to say we could just photoshop. And apps are pretty cool. There's just something about the real thing that you can't replace.
-
I dunno about anyone else, But I always liked the way the pic would slowly form on the Polaroid.

I know.. see.. it's just not the same as an iphone app.
-
That was one of the coolest things about them besides the obvious of being able to take a picture and being able to see it almost instantly 8)

heh, young cuz I never owned my own Polaroid camera ;D

You didn't have to own one to feel the magic of one. Tell me you at least got to shake a picture of yourself into existence ;D
-
Again well known brand quit after evolution runs over it.
R.I.P.
-
My polaroid is in a box somewhere. :o
it's kaputt as Polaroid is now. :P
-
I've never owned a polaroid, but I did like the idea of not having to give the film negatives to the shop for developing. I'm sure they used to look at the pictures while they developed. I'm too embarrassed to go to the shop because of it.

That's why legions of swingers and hedonists who utilize nondescript hotel rooms are in mourning all over the world.

Used to? They still do :D
A friend of mine regularly would include a "cockerel shot" in all his rolls of film. When he got them developed at Walmart,
the "cockerel shot" was always missing :D :D :D

I have friends who went to a big random party.. and they found one of the people's camera that owned the house.. and they took some compromising pictures, then put the camera back where they found it. I always wondered how she explained how those pictures got on her camera :D

I used to have a problem with people at parties allways wanting me to take their pics. So I started just pointing it down my pants and snapping a pic when they did this.
