You honestly don't want to hear me try and sing - "try" being the operative word.

Alcohol truly improves your vocal chords performance. Although you must drink twice as much to improve your hearing.

Actually, the real aim would be to drink enough to become deaf, then even Dweez would sound good.

Have you noticed how some people otherwise centered and quiet tend to sing (loud) under the influence of alcohol? Uncle Salvatore should be forbid to drink at weddings and baptisms.  :o

Over here people young and old, used to burst into a rendition of "Danny boy" when sozzled even though regardless of their age no one knew the correct words. You were lucky if they got past "the pipes, the pipes are calling" - or unlucky as the case may be.

I remember as a kid being woken by drunks passing the house on the way home from the pub singing "Nobody's Child" on almost a nightly basis. Drink definitely didn't improve the singing but the volume was impressive.

Hey, I used to go out to karaoke a lot and I sing a mean "Wonderboy" (Tenacious D) and "Plush" (STP) if I do say so myself.

Yes I know, it was reported on the news.  I believe Obama didn't opt for a preemptive strike in this instance.
