Actually, I did wear turtle necks a lot when I was small. Living in NY, it was wise to guard the neck area in the winter.
Now, I just wear it for the compliments.

^ so does the show make the guys on it more appealing? I need to really watch that show. I watched a clip from it. He doesn't make a huge impression on me just looking at him... but he's got a definite flirty radiance in the clip I saw. Actually I watched a couple of clips to see what I was missing. He's good at being cocky.. but also vulnerable.
