Isn't it enough of an embarrassment on their part that the last time the kids saw them, I paid for it?

Apparently it only "established precedent".  ::) ::)  Are the children at least happy when they go with them?

Happy but bored most of the time.  They did absolutely poo all when they were there.  They love the King though so they're willing to be bored just to see him.

So tonight was all about broken marriages.

But it was fun and funny and there was a lot of alchol involved.

I discussed converting to Islma, got engaged on the spot and after a couple of smokes, we deided that it wasn't going to work.  Got disengaged promptly.

We're going dancing on Sunday thoguh.

Regrets are funny.  They're always in the end.  See, even if the King made me feel like I ws frikkin' lucky he deigned to have me, other people see me as teh one that got away.  And would rather stay away/ than see me hurt in circles.

Emotional unheaval is overrated.  I tend to give it a wide berth.

I was wondering who you got briefly engaged to?  By your post it sounds like someone you met at a counselling session.

I wasn't actually serious as I'm sure you know, but I wonder why they don't serve alcohol at certain genres of counselling?  For me alcohol in counselling in a bottle.

 :D

It was an ex.  Some of my girl classmates and I met up last night and when I got there, he was already there.  He's converted to Islam and apparently, if I converted, I could have my previous marriage invalidated.  It's such a lovely, lovely thought.  So, we decided that we should get married to make that possible for me.  Then he said something, I can't remember what exactly, and we looked at each other and we were like, nope, not gonna work.

It was a counseling session.  All counsel pointing to the dangers and pitfalls of getting married.

And how to buy a man.  That was discussed in depth too.

I have an uncle that every day at 7 PM pours himself some whisky and says: Excuse me people but it's time for my antidepressant.  :D
