son starts weekend job 3-9 pm,

Yesterday it was my brother in law 50's birthday. Big party. I drank a lot. Had I drank that much at night now I'd be wasted. Since the party was during the day I'm perfect this morning.

stayed up till 3.30 am, there was a wedding @ the hotel,

Sounds like a fun wedding.  Drinking during the day makes me want to go to sleep.  Once when I was in France, I saw all these locals drinking wine w/lunch, so I ordered 250 ml and drank it with my chinese food.  I was going to go somewhere in the city afterward, but instead, I just went back to my hostel and fell asleep.

I'm thinking that I'd rather be asleep or drinking than working.  Oh well.  Another half hour and I'll knock off for the night.
