That's annoying.  Can you borrow e-books and movies?  Our libraries have remarkable resources that you can access with an account online.  I know it's a poor substitute, but it's something to tide you over until they get their hapless construction problems sorted.

They use overdrive. Overdrive sucks. Want a book on werewolf bless'ed? They've got 400 titles. Want a specific book on the CIA? TITLE UNAVAILABLE.

I tried, but the selection was crap. I've heard they get six "rentals" per title, and then have to  "purchase" another license.

At the time, I wanted to work through ludlum chronologically. No dice. If the book is in a series they'll have 3/22 titles.

I wish the initial itunes pricing held. 99 cents I wouldn't mind paying per book. Ten dollars, per title? golly that nonsense.

Eh, I'm in a horrible mood because of my health, and reading would normally take my mind off it.

I want to get an ags 101 and the first three pokemon, that'd take my mind off things.

I used to emulate them on a psp, but the psp I have blocks homebrew.

The library around here (note the lack of plural) is constantly battling against forced closure. To be perfectly honest, for all I know it might have already been shut down.

Don't put off until tomorrow, what you can put off until the day after.

There is an exception to every rule, apart from this one.

I asked them on facebook if it's a bathroom issue or if the entire contents of the library have  been destroyed.

They copy and pasted the same notice again about the grand opening being postponed.

I WANT THE TRUTH!

I'm so tired of the rain, of the wet feet, the inability to go do much yard work and the endless need to pump out the basement.  Some sunshine would help.

we are having a slight spattering of snow here in the shires. Nothing as yet to get worried about but I assume the roads will be chaos

It's been sunny the past couple of days and walking has been really lovely under clear blue skies.  I walked late in the day today and the view of San Francisco across the Bay with all the lights twinkling on the Bridge and the buildings was so beautiful.

Last time I was up there was before the new bridge. I'll miss looking for the troll in the supports.

It was on that bridge I told mom to get rid of traffic, a power I was shocked she did not have.

That came from an earlier power, when the sun would glare off the water and through my window, and I'd ask her to turn the sun off. Our boat had fairly thick canvas curtains outside, so it worked pretty well.

I'm having a really bad anxiety day, a bunch of poo is going down that I can't deal with, And I have to see a psychologist too. I bought some hostess cupcakes to try and cheer myself up. It didn't work. They're smaller and greasier after the bankruptcy.

One of my neighbors stopped by today.  He works as a handyman and was doing some jobs for another neighbor.  He brought his lunch and we sat at the patio in the backyard, enjoying the weather.  He had a nice healthy salad with Hostess cupcakes for dessert.  That seemed sort of comical.  He said he'd liked them as a child and still enjoyed them every once in a while.  He didn't notice any real difference between the pre and post bankruptcy cupcakes, but I don't know that he's got much of a discriminating palate.

Anxiety is hard to shake sometimes.  Swimming, riding bike, running, or other physical exercise have always helped me.  I hope tomorrow is better for you, 8ully.

I once had a package of photographs mailed to me from Boston, MA to Cambridge, MA that took over a month to reach me.  I could have walked the distance in an hour or so.  The delay was and remains a mystery.  Maybe yours was on a "slow boat from China."
