Went to a Filipino birthday bash last night. Drank at least 15 beers and a tequila. Ate lord knows how much. Got home at 4am.

I'm totally totalled right now

Great spelling!

your new employees ??
if so they know how to treat their boss  ;D

Yeah, I sometimes have 5 guys working for me at once. All in all I have had 8 through the books and a new guy, Rico, starts tomorrow.

The place I went to was called Nilo's in Kilburn. It's basically a Filipino restaurant with a Karaoke club below. The Filipinos love Karaoke. Me.. not so much. Thank god my hollow legs syndrome held up and I didn't get drunk enough to grab the mic.

Great spelling!

My spelling probably improves with intoxication. Unlike my sense of balance.
Don't put off until tomorrow, what you can put off until the day after.

There is an exception to every rule, apart from this one.

Had a win with fitbit for my daughter
Her second hand fitbit charge strap literally fell to bits.
The back of the fitbit has a small u shape metal (lol) clasp that holds the charger in this snapped in half so i glued it.
then the strap around the rectangle face peeled off and split.
As i bought it from a friend I thought it may be out of warranty but seems fitbit give a two year warranty from the first registration for whoever owns it.
took a week of emails to USA headquarters and a lot of confusion to finally FITBIT stating either a new replacement of the same version (and the remaining warranty that is still left) or 50% off a new product (with another 2 years warranty).
Daughter decided for a new HR with the 50% off, best thing here is straps are interchangeable.
Still cost me £35 for some reason though  ??? ??? bloody kids  ;D

Can't tell if drink tastes bad because it is cheap, or government spanner in the works.

I remember a few years back they told some malt liquor company they couldn't use bright colors on their can because helenlovejoy.gif "someone think of the children!"

Apparently the reason you can't get 40's anymore is because of the bless'ed government.

It's supposed to be an alcoholic root beer, and aside from the one nasty flavor that I think might be compulsory, it would be delicious.

Mom reports same "gross taste" in her alcoholic ginger ale, apparently from same company.

No idea why, but to me all of the pre-mixed drinks taste like crap with maybe the exception of the Mudslide, but that's a one drink only thing.

Mudslides are good, but you're left wanting more. I like a zombie, since it's bright blue. This was a 6% rather than hard stuff.

Still wondering though.

I used to drink those sweet mixed things when I was younger, but I prefer wine or maybe something simple like G&T or Rum & Tonic.  As a matter of principle, I avoid any alcoholic beverages with little paper umbrellas as garnishes.

Woke up this morning, and something was... off.

Different.

I realized a pain in my abdomen, which I had just accepted would always be there, was gone.

I haven't changed my diet at all.

But this is a major relief. I've pretty much come to terms with always being in pain, so this relief is very much welcome.

Now I hope I can snag another hour or two of sleep, and then library!

Good news indeed, nothing worse than chronic pain. Hope you've made a breakthrough here!

I'm trying to decide whether to go back to sleep (better idea) or maybe watch tv.  I would like to read, but I'm too tired.
