Yum, I'd gladly eat that right now.

Last night we ate cannelloni. Filling: chard, ricotta, cheese, ham, walnuts. I don't care about the ham but it makes my husband happy.  ::) :D

I went all out and did a butternut squash and plantain soup (with carrots, potato and broccoli from the day before thrown in). Served it with a hot, crusty baguette.

It was souper!
Don't put off until tomorrow, what you can put off until the day after.

There is an exception to every rule, apart from this one.

I guess bacon and pancakes will have to do.  ... earlier I ate leaf spinach w/ mozzarella, yogurt, cottage cheese and a pickle, that was very good.  now I am hungry.

smokey, i want some soup, I am only really good with potato,  barley, and soup with noodles.  I am especially good at potato soup.   
I still suck with beans..  save re-fried or fresh like green beans and lima-beans.

I like soups of all kinds but that sounds truly delicious.

Pity! Why weren't they well? The taste? The consistency?

Tonight I'm making focaccia (with coarse salt and rosemary on top). Well, actually several small focacce for making sandwiches.

They were a little bland and I messed up the gravy. I thought it was too watery so I added cornstarch but I added too much. I tried to thin out but not very good.

I was kind of hoping they would taste like ikea meatballs lol

Ah, I've been there. It's the same thing with bechamel sauce and polenta. When you try to thin them out... It generally doesn't work well.

I've been cooking a lot for the last few days. I've made tortelloni from scratch. Filling: spinach, a bit of sauteed red onion and garlic, ricotta, parmesano and a batch had also smoked bacon. A bit laborious but it's worth it. Tomato sauce. No meat.
Chocolate cake with raspberries and maraschino cherries. Candied orange peel covered in chocolate and chocolate bonbons (oatmeal, nuts and dulce de leche). Chocolate yeah!!
