Had Indian food for the first time ever. It was chicken tikka Marsala , it tasted even better the next day with left over egg noodles.

I had deep fried whitebait and a portion of chips/fries in the BAC Scratch bar.  Not to mention 2 pints of East Coast IPA to wash it down.

I think that chicken tikka masala is actually British food - I'm not convinced that it has ever seen India!

It's what you get when you google "Britain's national dish"!

I had a prawn puri, king prawn vindaloo, lemon rice and a fusion spiced vegetable side dish.

It makes working until at least 7pm (sometimes 8.30pm) all week, thoroughly worthwhile.

I want to eat at your house!

We will probably have a green salad and some homemade tomato/thyme sauce over pasta.  The damn rats ate my first ripe cherry tomatoes of the season, so I'm on the warpath.  Wonder how they taste, skinned, gutted and marinated then grilled?

I've had muskrat and squirrel, so how different can it be?

That sounds pretty good, the rat recipe in the video clip.

But the dish looked kinda whitish and boiled somehow. Not appetizing. Now sautéed with leeks and carrots and peppers maybe...

I'm a "de facto" vegetarian but I'd eat rat if I was really hungry.
