That almost sounds like tiramisu.

I made an effort to cook baby artichokes last night (trimmed, steamed, tossed in olive oil then roasted--still too tough).  Clearly I need more practice.  Fortunately, we had a nice salad with a fresh peach galette for dessert, so that took the sting out of the failure.

I'd think that mix would make the burguers break apart when you cook them. Interesting.

We're off the the Park Tavern in Southfields as it's all burgers @ £6.

Of course, I'll probably drink 3 beers at £5 a pop so I doubt it will be a cheap night overall.

I'm doing pizza for about 10 people tonight. I'm deciding on the toppings. I'm sure I'll use bacon, blue cheese, red onions, black olives... I'm still not sure about the porcini mushrooms my mom brought me from Córdoba. Well they're not exactly porcini but a local boletus especies. I think I'll keep them for myself and put them in a sauce.

Off to see Shakatak at the Hideaway in Streatham tonight.

I shall be eating something from their menu.

The show was unbelievably good. Shakatak were marvellous!!

I had -

Marinated, Chargrilled Artichoke Heart and Cherry Tomato Salad with Red Onion Confit
Roasted Red Snapper Fillet, Mushy Pea Risotto and Ginger, Chili and Garlic Pak Choi
Homemade Profiteroles filled with Vanilla Ice Cream, topped with Hot Chocolate Sauce

 - for dinner, which was equally as good!!!

That sounds lovely!
Tonight there's a big variety of nothing for dinner.  ::)
