It's finally arrived.  After my kids counting down the days for the last two months we are at the eve of a day that only seems to last an hour or 2 anyhow.  Nevertheless, I'm up for it so:

It's snowing here the hardest it has yet this winter, so, I think we'll actually have a white Christmas :)

Sounds great.  We're pretty much on that track now although it didn't kick off untill 10am in our case.  Just got the showers and baths out of the way ready for breakfast!

Hope everyone has a happy and indulgent day - today is an official no-diet day!!!!

the Hine Cognac was super but the lemonade i had must have been off  ;)

daughter only broke one of the toys  >:( the micro sd card got rammed in the slot of her
Apad ( from dropping it ) and the Apad does not recognise it  :-\.

will have to look on ebay for a micro sd card reader with a micro usb connection.
o what fun.

Hope everyone else's xmas day went great and everyone was stuffed and well watered.

What you need is what my husband calls "The donkey nap": a midmorning nap after a big breakfast. He says it's a must on any vacation.  :D

I skipped the breakfast yesterday and went straight to the "shine" from the NC mountains. One good shot of shine and a bit of coffee, then another shot of shine, etc. ...  :D
This morning I am back to normal and had a decent breakfast and my normal 3 cups of coffee.
Celebrations are over and it is back to work.  :)

There were some Morello cherries on top of the cream, on top of the chocolate cake, on top of the cream, on top of the..... you get the point.

I have recovered now and am making some pasta sauce (boiling down the tomatoes) but I have the urge to have something more indulgent than that.  I'll have to add more Shiraz to the sauce..

haven't spent a penny myself  :-[
returned a bamboo tablet and case but as of yet i have no plans for spending.
wife has had a netbook ( asus). very nice and fast for what it is  ;D

i have her old toshiba to re install a o/s
and my lappy has just crashed and restored to a very old restore point on W7.
 :-\ might just install ubuntu and sod the windoze side.
