That sounds really good.  I'm about to go to a party with a big batch of fresh guacamole and some chips.   There will be wine, salad and pizza.  The guac.  was easy to make so I'm looking forward to sitting and relaxing for a while.

Two muffins were sitting in an oven. One turned to the other and said, "Wow, it's pretty hot in here." The other one shouted, "Wow, a talking muffin!"

To someone who didn't know German, that sounds like "a bee field is a bee field!"

Aber, das Befehl gefällt mir nicht!

Just had a spat with the local council who have just decided to mow adjacent to our bridlepath, thus removing so many flowering plants that it was worth a few minutes to see and hear the bees .
"ein Befehl ist ein Befehl"
as they say :-\ :-\

I like how that one can go both ways. Either the mourner had nothing nice to say, or the friendship was so blindingly eccentric one word was all that was needed.

A mourner at a funeral was asked to take the stage and say a word in respect of the departed. He clinked his glass, took a deep breath and said "plethora". He walked off stage and moments later the wife of the deceased approached him with a tear in her eye and said, “Thank you. That means a lot”.

If our lawn didn't just die off due to lack of water in the summer, I'd hire a team of goats, or should that be herd?  Sometimes when one drives onto the local expressway, there are goats on the hillsides chomping on the vegetation. They were hired specifically for that purpose.  It's kind of fun to see them there "working."

I bought my blind friend a cheese grater for his birthday. He later told me it was the most violent book he’d ever read.
