Ok, I've crumbled a little and bought a Apple MacBook Pro 17" Laptop (Model A1297) with a quad core i7 2.4GHZ Processor.
It's virtually new, but thankfully, not new enough to leave in the box for a week or 2 as I usually do, so I'm keen to start loading it up and seeing the real, if any, difference there is against my PC with slightly higher specs.
I have a feeling I may need some help. I mean, I can't find the right click already..

All clicks are right on a mac.
I didn't get in from work until late... AGAIN! So I haven't time to play. I really want to load up Logic and Maya as I'm eager to see if a mac will really out perform my other kit and run those programs niggle free.
There's always tomorrow, I suppose.

You can enable right clicks by going to Systems Preferences, selecting Mouse, then select/activate Secondary Click. I often turn it off because it's annoying most of the time.

I have a 7 button mouse for my PC which I use to assign actions that I use a lot in certain applications. At my age even leaning forward to press keys is a chore.

Bin the mouse and use the trackpad.

Thanks. I'll take a look at that.
