Post your sites, one and all.
http://www.streamtvguide.com/
Great site, loads of subcategories and very tidy and easy to navigate.
How many hours of online-TV is unknown to me, but a month or two, continuously, is not unlikely.

There is an iOS app called "TVCatchup" that is pretty good if you are in the UK.
... and you have an iOS device.
Or Android (http://android.tvcatchup.com/) of course.
-
What's that?
In this dimension it's an open-source software stack developed in part by those wonderful people at Google.
Now I know your next question is going to be "what's 'open-source'?"...
-
Some people call it the "Android Market"...I call it the "Stuff that is fun for a bit then borks a phone".

Depends on the phone I'd wager. You could play tennis with Motorola Defy, with cricket bats, but the missus' HTC Wildfire wouldn't run 'notepad' with any degree of ease.

I know what "open source" is. Android isn't it.
The only real relation between open source and Android is in Google's marketing.
That is a little unfair as you have to take into account the Linux libraries for one, the issue of whether you are a developer or end user, and a host of other arguments about licensing that I don't really understand. However, the codebase is readily available from their source project and for me that makes it 'open source'.

That site looks good but for some reason I can't get the films to start playing. I don't think it is because I am in Europe as there didn't seem to be any conditions to be able to see the content, so I presume it's either a bug with my browser or because that site is still in beta.

Unfortunately the same thing happens to me. Thank you anyway townie.
I can't access Crackle from my country, btw.

That's odd that I can you you cannot.
I have a 16 megabit connection but still get a lot of stuttering with streaming stuff though, and by the time my connection is fat enough for that not to happen, my children will be of an age when they will probably hog the bandwidth anyhoo.

I get this (http://ahttp.crackle.com/profiles/crkimg/outreach/latam/index.aspx).

Perhaps there is no Spanish option as yet and they don't realise that there is anyone in South America that is bi or multilingual.

hmm, have you tried the free version of http://hotspotshield.com/ (http://hotspotshield.com/)? i used to use it to get Hulu and Pandora from the U.S., worked well (i've since bought a different one i can use for "sharing" :) ). i haven't actually tried playing a movie on popcornflix yet, i'll give it a try and report back.
*update: ok, sorry folks, scratch popcornflix, for now anyway. i could get to the site, pick a movie, but it wouldn't play, so i used my VPN for a U.S. IP and it played, but hesitating, short freezes, etc., would drive you nuts trying to watch a movie. try Hotspot Shield (free) for Crackle Xtopave, it may work for you, gives you a U.S. IP.

A few years ago I tried Hotspotshield (precisely to watch Hulu) but it didn't work well and moved on at the time. I should give it another try.
