I met someone today and they told me they have an owl living in their yard.. and they even made the hooting sound what it sounds like. I don't have an owl in my yard ??? I want one badly.

We have an owl that lives somewhere local. When I sit in the back garden watching the bats flying after moths (which I do sometimes when the weather's okay) you sometimes hear the owl hooting. Still on a wildlife theme, my sister found a baby hedgehog in her garden yesterday so left some dog food out for it. It ate it all and was still there this morning so she's decided to hand rear it - not sure that's such a good idea.

aw hedgehogs are cute. we have squirrels in our garden that have been eating all our tomatoes and green peppers this summer. I let the dog out to chase them but they always come back.

Hedgehogs are super cute, and I've always wanted one.. and now I want one in my yard and an owl in my yard :P I have squirrels also, they drag sticks over my fence and run around on my roof. In the US they sell African hedgehogs. I've never seen an English hedgehog in person.

I also want my dinner to cook faster.

That hedgehog will run her out of money trying to keep it in sneakers.

I'm going to knit mine a scarf, and feed it tea, and teach it to talk.

Hedgehogs have some bad-ass ticks you know.  I took one home once when I was a kid, by wrapping it up in my jumper.  When I'd let the thing go again in the jumper there were these orange minibeasts that looked very nasty indeed.

That's a poo load of bike for just a single seater.  I would give my right arm for those wheels - which on second thoughts would be a tad counterproductive.
