Nah, they're very intelligent dogs. They're going to take it to the garden, set it on fire and tost with a beer.

A member of my family bought a Cane Corso. They're going to cut its ears...  :'(

Honestly, I only saw the bear ears the 2nd time I saw the pic.

they look much better with floppy ears.

I think so too.

Docking and cropping... what can we say about that...  ::) :(  They look meaner and all that.

It's supposed to be a good watch dog and they live in the outskirts, etc, etc. A good alarm system would be better for that purpose if you ask me.
They already have a German Shepherd that apparently is a good guard dog at night (I've always seen him during the day and he must think he's a chihuahua cause he tries to jump your lap!). They also have an old Boxer that's in very bad shape and miraculously (or bc they won't give up on him) made it to 2014.
They sent me a pic of the puppy and it's so black it's blue! Gorgeous animal. Apparently the 2 teenage daughters are against the cropping of the ears. He, he, my guess is the dog is pretty safe.

he had surgery yesterday and I was able to bring him home today. He's still a little out of it and he didn't quite believe I was there to pick him up from the vets office.

Here he is at home.

Surgery? What happened?

Nice hair. How old is he?

His other testicle didn't drop and the vet said it would be best to have it removed. So they removed the  one that didn't drop and the one that did. So, he is now a neutered pup. He is a year old.

He's really sweet.  I hope he's not too uncomfortable.

I thought he would be uncomfortable but he only was the first night home. By the next day he was back to his regular self. In two weeks he will go back to have his staples removed.
