Cats see an open drawer or an empty cardboard box and they jump right into them. And they aren't even a bit claustrophobic.  :D

Here's my black and white. Her name was Libby and she lived to be 21 years old. She was my travel companion, my roommate, and my best bud.

I am RE-posting this in honor of Gretta. She passed away this week and we are really having a hard time with the loss even though I know that it was for the best. She was riddled with tumors, deaf, partially blind and severe tooth decay in one molar. But that meant nothing when I look back on the glorious life she led and how happy and proud she made us for 14 years.

I love you girl........... :-*

Without going into details, cause Im not really into crying, our girl is having some failing health issues. It's made me very nostaglic over the past few weeks along with not letting her leave my side except to potty and even then Im not to far away. Gretta and all of these posted 'family members" are such a dynamic part of our family life. Im glad that we've taken the time to show our appreciation to all of them by honoring them here on this thread.

I scanned a couple of framed pics that I have to send out to my family to give them an update on Gretta and how's she doing so I thought that i would share it with my Diasfora family too.

This is our lil puppy during her first year with us. God I love this dog. Lift your glass with me to toast Gretta. CHEERS!!

I know how this is. I still miss my Dalmatian that died more than 15 years ago. I was always waiting for him to actually talk to me. Did Gretta like to swim or did you coerce her into the pool.  :D
My husband had a Cocker Spaniel that used to jump into whatever water he saw. And my 3 Siberian Huskies did the same.  ;D Jesus, those girls were wild!!

Well, she was trained quite well and did pretty much everything we told her to do but keeping her out of the water was near impossible. As you can see, that was a swimming pool. My husbands aunts pool. She saw us swimming and jumped right in. Head went under and everything. Hilarious!! We knew every watering hole near by. She would swim in the dead of winter if we let her. She did accomplish that once when my husband was hiking with her. He was looking the opposite way and the next thing you know -> she was in a paddling around. Crazy dog.  :D
