If you can find a copy of the game, it'll play on a Wii, too.  :)

Speaking of playing GameCube games on the Wii...do you need to have a GameCube controller or can you use the Wii controller to play them?

You need a GameCube controller, the guy in the game shop said it would have to be an official one as third party one's didn't work and I think you need a GameCube memory card as well, but I could be wrong  :-\

Nintendo actually makes another controller that will work as well:

This controller is designed to work with any downloadable games on the Wii some of which include GameCube games.

And yes, you will need the GameCube memory card.

Have you played any G/C games on the Wii. ?

Does it upscale the graphics in any way. ?

I got one of those controllers when I bought the Wii, but the only Wii game I have that's compatible is Super SmashBros Brawl.  :-\

Good to know all I need now is a Gamecube memory card. Resident Evil here we come.  ;D

Resident Evil 4 was an excellent game. I played it for a awhile even after I beat it so I could get the unlimited rocket launcher.

After that, you can stroll through the game.  :)

Was there a Resident Evil game that was just released on the Gamecube.?

Have you played Umbrella Chronicles on the Wii ?

I have played all the ones that were out for the Play Station. Wasn't to impressed with Resident Evil Outbreak.  :-\

As far as I know Resident Evil 0 was only released on the GameCube. It's an okay game, one of the biggest annoyances is that you essentially control two characters at once. You can switch back and forth between them, and there are puzzles that involve someone getting stuck until the other can free him/her. So it gets a little tedious at times...

I haven't tried Umbrella Chronicles because I'm waiting until it's cheaper...  :D

I absolutely despised the Outbreak games, tho. Largely because you had to protect 3 other people besides yourself, all of whom seem to be controlled by your mom. They steer themselves into danger and really aren't much help in fighting zombies. I found the games to be frustratingly difficult...

Left 4 Dead got this a little better, but it's got a lot of illogic to the zombies. There will be times when you're high up on a three story building and all of sudden here come some zombies swarming up the building onto the roof. Are they all bless'ed Spider-man or something?!

Aye, definitely I do that with most games. Res 5 is the only one I would think about paying full price for right now. It's my birthday next month, but I think March is the releases date unless it get's put back again.  :-\

My young hooligan said he is only able to use game cube gamepads for playing GC games on the Wii. I asked him if he had any tricks he'd like to share ...I don't know, he got this big grin, says 'Who MEEEE?' He clammed up and that was it.
