Title: Mint french toast.
Post by: 8ullfrog on December 17, 2015, 03:18:19 PM
My medication has seen me a groggy weak mess, honestly I'd go back to drinking if that were an option. As it is, mom has been taking care of me.

She brought me breakfast yesterday, and it was certainly surprising. Mint french toast.

I managed to choke down about half of it before the flavor became overwhelming. I regretted it for the remainder of the day, and was greatly worried about this mornings ablutions, having experienced the double ended pain of a habenero.

Every burp was minty fresh, lunch and dinner suffered from the toothpaste effect.

How did this happen? Mom mixed up vanilla and peppermint extract.

So, if you find yourself in a similar situation, please reconsider.

That has my eyes watering.

Spearmint, maybe, but the bread would have to be chunky.

To be honest, I'm a little confused by the vanilla.

What kind of meds?  That French toast sounds pretty awful.  I'm sorry you suffered the effects for so long.  What was peppermint extract doing in the kitchen anyway?   It has specialized uses.  I don't have any -- just vanilla or almond here.

It was for some recipe a while back. Mom once paid $50 in spices to make pumpkin muffins.

As to the meds, the psych ones are locked in, but other problems persist.
