See,, thats why i like the UK so much better than America.
Its seeming to be more civilized.
America is still a frontier country in many ways.
I know I seeem too violent to be in the UK ,, with the way the society is,, but over there accross the pond you dont have to worry about being held at gunpoint by someone robbing your house.
The worst Ive seen is people being held with knives,, and to tell the truth,, a person with a knife doesnt scare me.
I keep my standards low.
That way im never disapointed.

It's not so much about degrees of violence but more the math of it.  If you burgled a house here with a firearm and got caught, you'd get twice the sentence just for bringing the piece along.  Not only that but illegal firearms are very expensive and if you could afford one you probably wouldn't need to house burgle.

The law here is "reasonable force" and we have had an interesting case here recently of a man that chased his family's attackers down the road and beat the shite out of them with a bat.  He was imprisoned but due the a public outcry him and his brother's sentences were reduced.  It is an extreme case but even this incident didn't include any deadly weapons.

There is an exception to every rule, apart from this one.

See, this is the problem with "reasonable force" laws.
They are too vague.
The law itself was never detailed, some one without any real idea of what went on is sitting there dictating what was reasonable after the fact.
Here in Oklahoma we have the infamouse "make my day" law.
But,, on the other hand,, the robber can turn around and sue you in civil court.
Then,, if he is killed,, you can be sued by his spouse, his parents, the anti gun lobby and possibly John Smith down the street.
America is sue happy.
My opinion is ,, make the laws here in America stiffer like in the UK and maybe then someone will concinder doing somethign else besides robbing someone.
Well, that,, and get real police.
It takes the poilice 20 minutes to get here from initial calling of emergencey services.
In 20 minutes all kinds of havoc can happen and the perps even have time to flee afterwords.
I keep my standards low.
That way im never disapointed.

Why does wasp spray spray up to 20 feet? and does it really?
Surely it uses the same old butane/propane propellants as most other sprays and so would have the same vapour pressure for a given temperature. Does it not atomise the liquid and shoot a fine stream or jet instead? although I think a jet would be less effective for wasps due to less area coverage.

Not used wasp spray before as I just swat them with a paper.

It shoots a thin line of spray that far so you can get the wasp nests from a safe distance and often they're up high in the eaves of your roof so you need that spray distance just to reach them.  I'm not sure how they are different from other spray cans though.

I see... that's the answer then.

It's a jet for nests and not for free flying wasps. Use fly spray for them.

The same could be applied to pepper spray however provided you can aim for the whites or subsequent reds of their eyes.

I'd like one of the following.
A military style flamethrower,a Heckler & Koch HK91 fully automatic assault rifle,a Pancor jackhammer and an Armalite AR 50 rifle for those long range shots.
