I see XT's got a long wait.

Yup, I have to wait till October. As you know I've came back from Brazil a few days ago and there was a lot of buzz about Mother's Day so I suggested I should get a present. I only got an eye rolling and a smile.  :)

Happy Mother's Day to those girls that celebrate it today!!

Holiday was meant as a memorial for dead mothers and the founder of the holiday later fought to abolish it because of commercialism.

I gave my mom a beer and she got all happy I "Remembered" mothers day. I was just giving her a beer because it is hot out.

I want pizza for dinner but I know all restaurants are bless'ed swamped today.

We celebrate Mother's Day on Mothering Sunday to avoid confusion.

Or to create it...

Either way, no dead folk involved.

Jarvis. Tough poo. Dead Moms. No fun.

My mom was a poo, scootered about, we had no time to get food, so I quad damaged her.

For reference, I mixed a mudslide milkshake with four ounces of rum.

This of course backfired. I'd been suggesting a pizza order all day. She ate half a pound of cheddar and then passed out.

I am a VERY HORRIBLE caretaker.

Further reference: When I went to see Iron Man 3 on my birthday, on my own dime, she went and bought a bless'ed scooter off money she got from grandma. Now I've got a hell of a time trying to adult over my own mother. But now she has a bless'ed scooter!
