Fapping?...Drinky Crow?...I think I must need a translator.

Water balloons from the second story window.

Meowing like a cat to confuse the dog. The more people that join in, the more confusion.

Surreptitiously putting high suds soap in the fountain in front of the electric company

Go to a department store jewelry counter, after a few minutes of looking ,ask the salesperson " who buys the crap?"

Break into your neighbors house and rearange their furniture

Find Artfanatic, tell her your a freind of mine and J's,,,listen to her rant

Go to the local park,,find the duck pond and feed the ducks small change and then watch them sink.
If your really bored, name them first.

Life is so short and there's so much to do and think about.  Who has the time to be bored?  Even imagining what it might be like to walk on the ceiling or to be President of China... the possibilities are endless.

And what's involved in extracting aluminum from Bauxite?  How'd they figure that out?  And why did they figure it out when they did?  There are so many questions to be answered and so little time.
Title: Re: Things to do to relieve boredom
Post by: Autumn on March 17, 2013, 11:27:12 PM
I don't really think of thinking as occupied. As in, even as I say I'm bored, I'm thinking a million things.

And for that matter, who decided to melt metals to make things of them? Who figured out the ingredients to make cake? And ten thousand other questions...
Title: Re: Things to do to relieve boredom

There's lots of different ways to think.  Some thinking is really hard and involved.  I don't do enough of the latter and for that I feel guilty.

And there's me constantly thinking of naked wimmin.

Mind you, I'm seldom bored..

I play a lot of video games. I usually lose the TV that the Xbox is connected to on weekends when my gal isn't working. I spend a lot of time looking for new movies for her. I can spend hours on YouTube. Try to keep up on what's new in technology...

People's brains are wired differently.  I'm rarely bored, and almost never when I'm occupied.  To each his/her own.

My cousin likes jigsaw puzzles and I help her on occasion. She does most of the work and I fill in a few missing pieces when I can. We (she) just finished a 2000pc Sistene Chapel puzzle that was more difficult than fun.

I used to do jigsaw puzzles (in a previous life, about 20 yrs ago). I've done a lot of 1000 pcs, a couple 2000 pcs and this is the largest I've made: exactly 3060 pcs. When I ended it several pieces were missing.

I'm not very keen on jigsaws either, they just don't cut straight.  Personally I use a DeWalt trim saw, a cordless one at that.
