I avoid clich?s like the plague.

If I've said it once, I've said it a million times...don't exaggerate.

"Army Intelligence".

Ahh, all time favourites is it? Although that usually starts with "military", originality is always welcomed here.

As for unoriginality:

Italian law.

Why do we park on the driveway, but drive on the parkway?

Is that missing a "not"?

Nope, he has it right.  Driveway == parking; parkway == driving

Another oxymoron.

Glad you saw that, as I first thought to say that my original grammer was oxymoronical.

And just to confirm any possible doubts regarding
American sensitivity, I saw this years ago in the local newspaper. The amputee support group here is called OutReach...

Same paper has a weekly column entitled 'Courts and Crimes' which describes the illegal activities discovered in the preceding week. Eaach time a crime is committed using a gun or knife, the paper lists it as an assault with a dead weapon....

....and yes, this is the home of the Colonel Sanders Kentucky Fried Chicken with the really clean hired help, as seen recently on UTube...
