Title: actually finished a game on hard setting...
Post by: mishca09 on February 23, 2013, 10:52:50 PM
I've always played normal but this time I was like I'm going to play the hard setting and finish it…and it was really hard and I had to stop at some points for like a couple of weeks. sometimes I felt like the game took pity on me and let me pass… or I just got better…either ways Im super happy I finished on hard and now I can play super easy to pick up all the extra crap. will I ever play the hard setting again in my life? probably not…it was a pain in the ass but I'm happy I did it at least once.

game was Drake Golden Abyss or whatever its called.

I have only ever played the serious game settings after I have played through a game a couple of times, but I doubt that'd be possible nowadays due to a very real lack of time.

Congrats to you though Mish, and does that game have an "impossible" level?

Drake?  As in the "Uncharted: Drake's <Blah>"? games?  Those are fun, difficult games.  Great job mishca!

I've just started Skyrim on normal (or whatever the equivalent is) and I'm getting mashed but all sorts of things so far.  I should have done what I usually do and gone full on warrior class for the first play through.

is warrior class a high difficultly setting? is Skyrim similar to world of war craft , where you can play with others over the neT?

I play it offline and it is the biggest game I have every encountered.  Not only that but it's also the richest in graphics and the amount of mods that have been developed for it is staggering.

I have had a couple of full days playing it while the builders are in, and I have still only scratched the surface.
