Title: a surprise in my yogurt.
Post by: mishca09 on October 19, 2013, 04:34:05 PM
i decided to have yogurt & some granola  for breakfast and I start to mix the two together but for some reason the yogurt isn't soft. I check the date, to make sure its not expired it not. So I press harder with spoon and stir a little and its piece of paper  the same size as the metal lid. I decided not to eat the yogurt.

Apparently placing a piece of parchment paper is apart of their production process and I am suppose to remove it before consumption.

Furthermore, all of our FAGE Total Plain Yogurts do contain a piece of parchment paper that lies on the top of the yogurt and should be removed upon opening. This information can also be located on the side of each container near the ingredients. FAGE utilizes this parchment paper to absorb excess whey from the yogurt.

I've seen it, it's not very appealing, but did it have the styrofoam lining on the yogurt part?
