So my buddy is up in the air right now, and he had me listen in on the radio frequencies as he flies. He also set up a flight tracker for me so I can see where he is.
He's doing fine, as he's an amazing pilot, but holy poo is the tower scary. First, the guy sounds like he's drinking Nyquil on the job. He's slurring instructions, and asked a PILOT about a transponder contact that popped up.
My buddy is OK though, his flight still shows as on time.
Still, I would not want my fate in the hands of that Operator.

My buddy tells me they train controllers on that tower, but still, holy crap.
