Have you found that you receive the best deal by phone, online or in the store from your carrier?
I've done a little bit of research and some ppl have said the best deal is at the store because sales agents could give you free accessories.
which one has worked for you?

I've always found that the best deal is to look online for what deals are available from any one provider, and then call Carphone Warehouse, Chitter Chatter or the now defunct, Phones4U, and they'll better the best deal by quite a margin.
I pay £26 a month to T-Mobile for an S3 on a blah blah deal, and my missus pays £20 for the identical deal from Chitter Chatter.

Never heard of chitter chatter ?? Once the company has you their not interested in you anymore so shop around ;)
None of my family has a contract phone, we all have a sim only deal from Virgin. Cheap as chips at around £33 a month for us all.

You can negotiate as they have room to manoeuvre with their deals. Of course, with any 3rd party supplier you have to sacrifice customer service. But I'm not sure that actually exists any more.

tmobile offered $40 off of cell phone bill or $40 credit towards accessory if I buy a new phone.

a of people now seem to be buying so called Elephones (larger screens) outright from Chinese sites like BangGood, Tmart, etc., they're Android, have good reviews, quite reasonable in price, and, i believe, come unlocked. i got lucky myself, almost 3 years ago i got a Galaxy S II refurb from a provider's staff only online store for $199 (which was a hot deal at the time), a staff member on a forum was good enough to give me his login credentials, and i didn't even know him. anyway, a lot of people seem to be buying these Elephones as a cheaper alternative to Galaxies and iPhones.

Elephones. good spec (depending on which) work well. Best of all for me on these Chinese imports are the android is vanilla, no added manufacturer rubbish :)

Took my time on my choice and after being out bit twicw I finally got hold of the Ulefone BeTouch 2. http://ulefone.com/products/betouch2/features.html (http://ulefone.com/products/betouch2/features.html) Awaiting arrival :) As per previous post I like Vanilla Android system that is installed with no bloat wear as per all major manufacturers

a lot of positive reviews for the one plus one.
samsung is offering a $200 rebate if you buy a note4 for before the 7/26. So I decided to get one. I kind of love it already.

That's a shedload of kit for the money. I'm interested as to how it performs in the real world as it could be my new work phone.

so far so good. connection to pc easy, appears as a external device. cast screen of phone to Smart tv easily. Fast on internet over wifi. 3g much faster than my old Inew V3 phone. screen crisp playing hd vid's Battery not too bad, but Still draining the battery to achieve max usage - will keep informed. Plenty of power options included in settings. Loading sim and google account for numbers fast and easy. dubious on using finger print scanner as yet, if anything went wrong then wife couldn't use phone?! light to hold, it doesn't feel a 5.5 inch phone in my dainty hands. Quality build. Loving the 5.1 Lollipop android look. Camera quality - No idea as yet as too wet to try out.
Will try out the 3g / 4g options when i get a 4g card. Only thing I am eager to try out I cannot. Unsure as why the "home" button is a button not just a touch option.feels as though this will wear first ( as per apple).

My S3 has a physical button and I much prefer it. My Z3 doesn't and I can never be sure whether the phone is on/off/crashed. At least of you push a button and get nada, there's a good chance the phone is off.

The iPhones with the TouchID can be unlocked with either the fingerprint scanner or passcode. If your's functions the same way, your wife should be able to unlock it with the passcode. Now that I think of it, the iPhone TouchID can record multiple fingerprints so you could probably have it set up for both you and your wife.

cheers for the finger print info. Will try out, as i work in a oily environment it may be touch and go though.
Phone also has "gesture control" for certain items camera / on,off / calculator / music player. Will look into.
The button wearing out sounds mythical to me: It has never been an issue on any Apple phone I have seen or heard of.
Your lucky or look after your phone better than my friends, although Apple has an alternative Apk option to install a "home button" on the screen. as per Android.
