All the experiences I have had with them are not good,.
Mother has a two Assus and both have died with in 2 years. The present one you cannot use without the keyboard as the touch screen will not work. Common problem which Assus haven't cured.
I have had a couple of Android pads from China and for the money they work but that is it, best thing I did was buy a Apple mini (cannot believe i'm praising the virtues of Apple).
Do your research well is the only thing I can suggest

I use a galaxy tab 3, it's an ancient piece of poo but is probably better than an asus chromebook.
