Title: I reset Windows
Post by: brickbatz on May 12, 2018, 03:18:36 AM
Before doing it I was given a list of ~10 applications that would removed. It turned out to be 113. At least they give you a html file on your desktop "Apps removed while resetting your PC (http://Apps removed while resetting your PC)." >:(

I couldn't log into the Xbox app, Xbox Live or any Microsoft logins. The choice of recovery confirmation email addresses were unused ancient email addresses. It took me over 6 hours to find login info for one I never used. It took 2 Yahoo email accounts and 3 Gmail accounts to find an account they accepted for verification to reset a password for an Outlook.com email account that they have as my default Microsoft login. Been resetting passwords for several paid for apps. Since yesterday at ~ 4:00AM, with about 2 hours of sleep, I've been working on this. :'(

A skip:

I'd like to skip Microsoft's security team.

I'm about half way getting everything back. I need to save passwords on a flash drive.
